Seeing Moments.
My photo art centers on connecting to that which simply, often
spontaneously presents itself. It’s a joy to image serendipity in the natural world and life. This juncture of moments creates a single moment. A blessing of now. It catches me. There, before me, this visual gift awaits. It tugs at and coaxes my shutter. “This convergence happens only once”, my mother would say.
Threading my energy of fascination with a “moment crush”,
I stitch my eyes to my heart, where magic happens. There is visible mystery in our midst, when we look. I want to bring
the viewer new perspectives of this mystery.
My intent is to convey depth in simplicity and complexity of this serendipitous mystery, whether through metaphor, abstraction, or representation. Intuition guides me, intention follows to Instill curiosity. Questions of meaning and subject may hang for interpretation.
